Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), a subsidiary of the Informatics Group of Companies, is the pioneer in introducing British University Degrees to Sri Lanka. During the last 20 years, IIT has produced over 2000 graduates of exceptional caliber in IT and Management who are in high positions in industry both in Sri Lanka and abroad.
IIT in collaboration with two leading British universities offers their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in IT and Management in Sri Lanka for Sri Lankans and as well as students from SAARC countries.
In addition, IIT has its own schools technology curriculum conducted in several leading schools and at the Centres in Colombo, Kandy and Jaffna.
IIT is currently searching for an Operations Manager to serve in their Colombo Centre.
MANAGER - OPERATIONS
The position requires excellent leadership qualities with highly developed inter personnel, organising & communication skills and should be able to co-ordinate, guide and lead a team of young professionals. The selected person would be required to prepare and implement and monitor business plans & budgets in consultation with the Senior Management of the Group, and achieve set targets. You will also be responsible for operational activities related to all the Centre projects and requirements of all the Centres.
The selected candidate will be responsible to prepare and develop curricula in IT training courses and ensure that the established courses are conducted professionally and new programmes are implemented regularly according to the demands of the IT industry.
The ideal person should have an IT related degree or a diploma from a recognised institution along with sufficient experience in managing, implementing and monitoring of IT training courses.
